UNITY
Heavenly Father, I come before you to thank you for all you have done and continue to do in my life. I come before you today, God, asking for a stronger bond of unity with others. Father I ask that you will give me the ability to be a united front for you letting nothing come between what you’ve called me to do. Help me, Father to identify and work through anything that is not pleasing to you so that I can continually reach higher levels of unity – spiritually, physically, and mentally. I am thankful and excited to see the work of your hand as I do my best to seek your face daily. I love you and thank you for all of these things. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen! “Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.” (Ephesians 4:3 NLT)
INTIMACY
Heavenly Father, I ask you today, to strengthen the bonds of my relationship with others. I am thankful that you have called me to spend time with you first, and then with others. Please show me any behavior that I have been committing that has been preventing me from entering into a deeper relationship with you. Once trust is broken it can be nearly impossible to regain on my own, however, I know that all things are possible with you God. Heal my hearts, Father, of past hurts and help me to trust in you and others again. I thank you right now for increased unity as I seek to honor your covenant with others, In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen! “God has given each of you a gift from His great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another” (1 Peter 4:10 NLT)
HONESTY
Father God, I come before you today to ask you to help me do everything with absolute honesty. Sanctify me by your truth – for your word is truth (John 17:17). Help me to never lie to others. Help me to come clean if I mess up or make a mistake that can affect where you are taking me – no matter how bad I may feel or embarrassed I may be. Give me the ability to be completely transparent with others regardless of how I feel. I thank you for the discernment to know your truth and the conviction to call on the name of Jesus. If there is anything that I have been untruthful about in the past, please help me to share it those who are qualified to encourage me and give me the wisdom to work through it. I thank you for helping me to be honest as I choose to submit to your spirit. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. “Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.” (Colossians 3:9-10 NIV)
FORGIVENESS
Heavenly Father, as I strive to continuously build a stronger relationship with You. Help me to forgive others for things that may have hurt or offended me. Help me to walk in forgiveness and never lose sight of the fact that you have forgiven me. Help me to show your mercy and grace to others each time they need it and not bring up past hurts or failures. Let me be an example of forgiveness to not only my loved ones but to those around me so that I can continue to show your love to all that I meet. Help me to also forgive myself if I struggle with condemnation. Thank you for your life-giving words of truth that I may be redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen! “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9 NIV)
HEALTH
Father God, I thank you for divine health in my physical body, and spiritual life. I pray that you will make known to me anything that I am doing that does not directly correlate with healthy living; body, spirit, soul. Give me the strength to honor you through my body as it is the temple of the Lord. Give me the wisdom to continuously build a healthy spiritual life with you at the center. Help me to always remember the sacrifice you made that gave me the promise of healing and peace. You are worthy to be praised! In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen! “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”
RESTORATION
Lord Jesus, nothing seems to be going right in my life. Lately, I find myself angry over so many things. Or I walk out in anger or silence, too upset to deal with any issues. Sometimes I fuss with others about little problems that don’t really matter or hide things that really are important. But in Your eyes, Lord, everything matters. Pebbles grow to mountains when they pile up, day after day. When did it all start? Did I retreat into my own world? Become too busy to care? Did I stop listening to You and having concern for others?
Teach me how to communicate—to simply talk to others again with courtesy and kindness. Show me again what love and respect looks like, and what it means to honor and mutually submit to authority, especially those who love You, Lord. I’ve forgotten all the basics. And I sense that if I don’t deal with even small problems now, I’ll be facing a much greater roadblock later. Maybe I’ve forgotten what love is really like. Or maybe I never really knew. Regardless, Lord, my life is in trouble. I need you. No matter how difficult the circumstances, I want to face them with You on my side. You’ve told me I would experience troubles on this earth, but that You are the great Overcomer. With You, Lord, You can mend the tears and amend the errors. With You, I can build a joyful life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
CHRIST-CENTERED
Today, I give my life to You. Forgive me for putting everything else before You. Forgive me for putting myself as well as my desires and plans before You and Yours. Search my heart, Lord. Convict me and clear out all the hardness that is clogging up the flow of Love in my life. Reset my relationship with You. Restore my hope in Jesus Christ and open my mind and heart to the healing truth that only You can rush into my life in those moments of madness. Give me the strength to be brave. Replace the fear of what might happen and what the future might hold with Christ-centered courage. I can’t be strong right now. I am broken and barely breathing. But You, the living God, in me, is my strength. Through the Holy Spirit of the One True God, empower me with humility, gentleness, patience, peace, and unity (Ephesians 4:2-3). Curb my anger from morphing into bitterness and hatred. Forgive me for the times I lose my temper and our sanity towards circumstances and others. Amen.
HEALED
I promise to trust You through the brokenness and heartbreak, trusting that it will not last forever. The process of forgiveness will begin in my heart this very moment, but I will leave restoration and reconciliation in Your hands. Take it all – in every area of my life. I have come to the end of myself and the ability to repair what has been broken in me, my loved ones, and important relationships. I am taking a backseat to Your sovereignty. Break it all if you must, in order to restore completely what has been lost. As I walk through the unknown state of my future, I am believing You for who You say You are.
“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.’” (Jeremiah 29:11-13, NIV). Come Lord Jesus. Into my life with miraculous healing.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
